he continued development of a variety of storage technologies offers consumers safe storage and convenience in refueling an enables further market expansion into residential, commercial, and remote applications. Through the Propane Education & Research Council, the propane industry is investing in the development, demonstration, safety testing, and commercialization of new materials and designs for propane cylinders and tanks. Development of new technologies that enhance the protection of downstream propane equipment and appliances, and also works to improve inventory management are also supported.
